Raw Honey Face Mask!

Hello Beautifuls! Tonight I wanted to share an inexpensive face mask with all of you that consists of only one, key ingredient - HONEY :) Using raw honey as a beauty secret dates all the way back to the days of Cleopatra. Cleopatra used to take baths filled with honey, and let me tell you, the lady was definitely knew what she was doing.

Benefits of raw honey for the skin:
- Suitable for all skin types, even those of you who have sensitive skin
- Helps to detoxify the skin
- Its acts as an antibacterial and anti-fungal agent, which helps to disinfect and speed up the healing process of acne
- Soaks up impurities
- It is loaded with antioxidants and helps restore damaged and wrinkled skin
- It is packed with nutrients and minerals such as vitamin B, iron, and calcium
- It contains gluconic acid, a mild alpha hydroxy acid which brightens the skin
- It naturally cleans your skin and leaves it super soft

How to use it:
To start off your facial you first need to purchase a jar or bottle of pure, raw honey. My favorite brand to use is called "Really Raw Honey" and it only costs about $9 bucks a jar! You can find this product at your local nutrition store. Slater the raw honey all over your face and leave it on for about 10 to 15 minutes. Remove the honey with a warm washcloth. After the honey is removed, apply your favorite moisturizer to your face. I promise you that you will fall in love with your skin post-honey facial. Not only will your skin feel soft and smooth, but you will look radiant!

All in all, raw honey is incredibly good for the skin and I definitely recommend trying out this natural, inexpensive face mask!

Natural Makeup!

Hi Loves! Hope you all had a wonderful and productive week!

I posted these photos on Instagram a few days ago and absolutely fell in love with this makeup look! This look is very natural, and perfect for the summer heat!

Here's the breakdown of what I used:

Of course I used my Make Up For Ever HD Foundation in the shade 118. This foundation is simply the best for photos! I did some very light contouring with NARS Laguna Bronzer and also used it to add an overall warmth to my face. I then took NARS Orgasm Blush and patted the color onto my cheeks for a bright, but natural flush of color. Next, I used Make Up For Ever HD Powder to set my makeup! I absolutely love this powder and definitely recommend trying it if you haven't yet!

For the eyes, I took my Too Faced Naked Eye Palette and used the color "Pillow Talk" all over my lid. I then took the color "Stiletto" and blended it out all over my crease. Lastly, I added just a pop of brightness to my brow bone and the inner corners of my eyes with the color "In The Bluff"
For eyeliner and mascara I decided to go with my two all-time favorites: L'Oreal Voluminous Mascara in Carbon Black and Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in the shade "Zero".

I filled in my brows with a dark brown eyeshadow by MAC called "Espresso" and then used Anastasia Clear Brow Gel to make sure that my eyebrows stayed put all day long!

I finished off the look by applying the perfect nude lipstick by MAC called "Hue" and added a clear lip gloss on top to give my lips a bit of shine! :)

I hope you all enjoyed this fresh and natural makeup look! Please leave any comments and/or questions you may have in the comment section below! Have a great weekend! :)

Crop Tops!

Hello My Fashionistas! Hope you all had a relaxing weekend! :) Tonight I wanted to talk about crop tops. This midriff-baring trend has been seen all over the runways this summer, and honestly, I hope it is here to stay! I absolutely love this trend and think it is perfect to wear either night or day. In the pictures above, I decided to pair this blue, textured crop top with a long maxi skirt. Over the past year or so, I have come to learn that crop tops definitely work best with high waisted bottoms. This combination is perfect because it reveals just a peek of skin - and ladies, we all know that showing too much skin is never a good thing!

Crop Top: Forever21 - $19.99
Maxi Skirt: Joyce Leslie - $14.99

Below are some more crop tops that are sexy, yet sophisticated! :)

Happy Shopping!

Tonight's Makeup Look!

Hello Beautifuls! Happy Friday! As you all know, I love makeup. Actually, I am obsessed with makeup! To me, makeup is art. However, makeup is not always about transforming ones self into someone else, but rather allowing your inner self to shine with confidence! Tonight when doing my makeup, I decided to go with a bold, pink lip. Ladies, whenever you do a bold lip it is important that you do not go overboard with the eyes! A dark lip mixed with a dark eye is NEVER a good thing. However, I still wanted to go for a dramatic look so I decided to go a brown/gold-ish smokey eye. Black would have definitely been too much!

Below is a list of the products that I used to create this look!

Blush:

Concealer:

Banana Oat Muffins!

Hello My Food Junkies! Hope you all had a wonderful week! The weekend is finally here and that means it is time to hit the beach, go out and party, or just simply relax! Woo Hoo!! :)

As most of you know, food has a huge impact on our bodies, health, and looks. Glowing skin, shiny hair, and strong nails are derived from healthy food choices. It is imperative to include fruits and vegetables into your diet and of course drink lots and lots of water. In simple terms, you are what you eat

Now I know I am going on a rampage about eating healthy foods, but what about those times when you are craving something sweet?! Those times you are tempted to indulge in that gooey, chocolate brownie?? Well I am here to tell you that I may just have the solution you have all been waiting for. Today I am going to share one of my absolute favorite sweet-tooth recipes with all of you that is under 120 calories! Yes, I said UNDER 120 calories! :) This banana oat muffin recipe is not only DELICIOUS, but it is also low in fat! You really can't get much better than that! ;)

Ok so here's the breakdown:

Ingredients:
(Original recipe makes 12 muffins)

- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

- 1 cup rolled oats

- 1/2 cup white sugar

- 2 teaspoons baking powder

- 1 teaspoon baking soda

- 1/2 teaspoon salt

- 1 egg

- 3/4 cup skim milk

- 1/3 cup applesauce

- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Looks of the Week: Comfortable yet Stylish!

Hello My Shopaholics! Hope you all had a fantastic weekend! :)

Tonight I wanted to share these 3 different "comfortable yet stylish" looks with all of you.  As most of you know, looking polished and put together is a must for me. But what most of you probably don't know is that being comfortable is very important to me too! Whether you are out running errands or working hard in the office, I think it is very important to dress comfortably. However comfortable doesn't have to mean sloppy. When people think about dressing comfortably, they usually envision their favorite pair of old, beat-up sweat pants or most cozy loungewear. Well I am here to tell you that this does not have to be the case! Don't get me wrong, I love throwing on my favorite pair of sweat pants when I am vegging out in front of the TV, but what most people don't understand is that you really can dress comfortably, and still look fabulous, no matter what the occasion! I like to call it "comfy chic" :)

Below are a few outfit ideas that I believe to be comfortable yet glamorous! :)

1.)

2.)

3.)

Below is a list of a few "comfortable yet stylish" items that I definitely recommend having in your closet:

1. Cotton Maxi Dresses

2. Leggings

3. Crochet Shorts

4. Cotton Bodysuits

5. Jean Shorts

6. Cute, but comfortable shoes; such as Toms, or espadrilles

Happy Shopping!

And remember, don't ever give up on looking fabulous just to be comfortable! You really can achieve both if you just put a little effort into it!
